Fidar Competition

Concept / design

The municipality building we propose is not just a service building, but a public hub.

Through a new public piazza, we hope to secure the space for the inhabitants of the town of Fidar. It will serve as a meeting place for them, a place for dialogue to help them tackle the numerous problems they face. The Location of the building on the western end of the square provides a point of communication between the north and south of Fidar.

The square also identifies itself as an inclusive space for the various institutions nearby (a school and church). The municipal building, which serves as a central node, connect the west and east through its windows, and the north and south across its piazza.
